He graduated with a Masters degree in Fine Arts from Designskolen Kolding
in 2005, specializing in Illustration and visual communication. Shortly after graduation, Lars started out as a free agent illustrator by illustrating two childrensbooks for Kroghs forlag.
Since 2003 he has storyboarded his way in to the Danish movie industry, and have by now worked for several internationally acclaimed directors such as Lars Von Trier (Golden Palm Winner of Cannes Film festival), Jacob Thuesen (Awarded with the Fassbinder prize) and Thomas Vinterberg (Jury Prize winner of Cannes Film Festival).

Currently Lars is drawing a live full page "storyboard-style travelogue" for Denmarks biggest newspaper, "Politiken". This innovative full-page comic, called "The escape to Hollywood" is inspired from Lars' current stay in
Los Angeles.
